Now in its 73rd Anniversary, the classic has grown to include : A Battle of the Bands and Stepshow on Friday night; A Parade through the Streets of Downtown Columbus, Georgia on Saturday morning; the Football game between the two rivals on Saturday afternoon; and a concluding concert featuring some of the musical icons of our generation! This is a fantastic display commisioned by the High Museum to display the most comprehensive holdings of Civil Rights–era photography in the country. It is a very powerful collection of images, and I would prompt everyone to take the opportunity to catch this exhibit while it tours the U.S.
